As Chief Executive Officer of Fiduciary Trust International, I have the honor of leading a firm devoted to helping clients find clarity, confidence and purpose in their financial lives.
I’ve seen firsthand how deeply personal that journey can be. For some, it’s about passing on their wealth thoughtfully and ensuring the next generation is positioned for success. For others, it’s about giving back to causes that inspire them—or simply enjoying the rewards of what they’ve built.
Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about fostering cultures that put people first—teams that listen deeply, think creatively and collaborate closely with one another and with our clients. At Fiduciary Trust International, those same values guide everything we do. We combine innovative investment thinking, intelligent tax strategies and meaningful wealth transfer planning to create solutions that reflect what matters most to each client.
Leading this firm is both a great responsibility and an extraordinary privilege. I am deeply committed to ensuring that every decision we make is grounded in our clients’ long-term interests.
My Experience
Throughout my career in asset management, I’ve been dedicated to creating exceptional client experiences—helping businesses truly understand their clients, engage more effectively and build lasting relationships.
As Executive Vice President and Head of Global Advisory Services at Franklin Templeton, I led the firm’s commercial strategy, developing innovative investment solutions and advising institutional and wealth-platform clients around the world. I continue to serve on Franklin Templeton’s Executive and Management Committees, helping shape the firm’s overall corporate direction.
Before that, I spent more than two decades at Brandywine Global, a Franklin Templeton investment boutique managing over $70 billion for some of the world’s most sophisticated institutional investors. As Managing Partner, I focused on ensuring the firm operated as one cohesive team to meet the evolving needs of its clients.
Earlier in my career, I worked in SEI Investments’ International Investment Management Group. My first professional experience, however, was a bit different—I co-founded a small business in Prague with my then girlfriend, who is now my wife of 34 years.
