With three decades of experience in sophisticated estate planning and fiduciary administration, I bring a strategic, individualized, and goal oriented approach to every client matter. My practice is rooted in a deep understanding of the legal, tax, and interpersonal considerations that shape effective wealth transfer planning. I work collaboratively to align fiduciary obligations with client aspirations to assist colleagues, grantors and beneficiaries in navigating the complexities of wealth preservation and transfer.

My Experience

Before joining Fiduciary Trust International, I served in senior fiduciary and advisory roles within a large national private bank, where I oversaw the evaluation and approval of new fiduciary appointments across multiple regions. In that capacity, I provided guidance, training, and interpretive support on a full range of fiduciary matters, including complex trust structures and cross border considerations. I also served as an internal resource on international issues impacting trust administration.

Prior to my work in the corporate fiduciary environment, I spent more than twenty years in private legal practice focusing exclusively on trusts and estates. The foundation of my career was formed in the private clients departments of two prominent international law firms based in New York, after which I established a practice within a boutique trusts and estates setting. Over the years, I have represented individuals, families, business owners, and charitable organizations in designing sophisticated estate plans, administering complex estates and trusts, and structuring effective philanthropic strategies

I am a panel member and qualified chairperson of the Surrogate Decision-Making Committee program for the New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs and a member of the Board of Trustees of The Bryant Library. I am also a former member of the Catholic Charities Volunteer Lawyers' Initiative, Diocese of Rockville Center and founder of a Wills Clinic at the Day AIDS Treatment Center in Freeport, New York.
