For more than three decades, I’ve dedicated my career to helping families preserve and grow their wealth with care, foresight, and integrity. I take pride in blending deep technical knowledge of trusts and estates law with the human understanding required to navigate the complexities of family dynamics and generational planning. My goal has always been to provide thoughtful guidance that empowers clients to make confident decisions and create meaningful legacies.
My Experience
My professional journey began in private legal practice, where I served as a trusts and estates attorney for nearly a decade before joining Fiduciary Trust International. Since then, I’ve spent over 30 years with the firm, ultimately serving as Chief Trust Counsel. In that role, I worked alongside our talented fiduciary professionals to ensure we upheld the highest standards of legal and ethical excellence, and to help families address complex wealth transfer and governance matters with clarity and confidence.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with generations of clients and their advisors, bringing both legal precision and practical judgment to every relationship. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the trust families place in us and have strengthened my commitment to thoughtful, values-driven fiduciary service.
Today, as Consultant and Chair Emeritus, I continue to share my insights with clients, colleagues, and the broader fiduciary community—mentoring our next generation of counsel and contributing to the evolution of our industry.
